Date: Wednesday, September 16, 2015
Venue: Clare Country Club
Presented by the Phylloxera & Grape Industry Board of South Australia, Clare Region Winegrape Growers Association & Clare Valley Winemakers
A not to be missed opportunity to experience the potential impact of a phylloxera outbreak in the Clare Valley wine region
WHEN: Wednesday 16th September
TIME: 9:30am — 12:30pm
WHERE: Clare Country Club, Inchiquin Room
Discussion will focus on if there was a phylloxera outbreak in the Clare Valley:
- Should the whole region be declared a phylloxera inclusion zone?
- Would you be able to sell your grapes outside the region?
- Would there be enough harvesters to harvest our grapes in time?
- Could our grapes be transported to wineries outside the region?
All these questions (and more) will be discussed during an interactive and engaging morning.
Please join us and share your views and suggestions for biosecurity planning for the region.
Please RSVP by 13th September to either Anna Baum on 0417 817 776 or Tania Matz 0427 168 109
